Cabin John United Methodist Church is a welcoming and friendly congregation in which people deepen connections with God and people through worship, serving, fellowship, mission, and creative use of spiritual gifts etc. We uphold Biblical beliefs. We inspire renewal and growth. We open arms to all. In Cabin John UMC, we work together to share God’s love, grace, forgiveness, and seek living a meaningful and valuable life. The gospel of Jesus Christ and social concern are always in our mind and we try our best to reach out in many ways.

Our English and Mandarin Chinese Sunday worship services are held at 10:00 am and 11:30am respectively. English Sunday School for children and youth begins at 11:30am while adult Chinese Bible study is at 10:00am. In addition, we have a Chinese class for children and English class for adults on Sunday at 10:00am. Adults and children perform special programs during special occasions and in community settings. During Christmas and Easter, we held evangelistic meetings for the message of hope, peace, and joy. Retreat, seminars and conferences are held to enhance spiritual growth.

Youth and adult fellowships on Friday night offer great opportunities to explore in different topics or aspects to share, learn and grow. It is also a good place to support each other, to care and encourage one another. We often work together to help the needy such as collecting foods for the homeless, helping foreign students to adapt to life in the US, and providing restaurant workers for their special needs.
